Our History

Lahita Engineering was founded in 2010 by Eric Lahita, P.E., following his licensure in the State of New York in 2006. Driven by a passion for engineering consulting, Eric began his career working with several major heavy civil contractors on deep foundation projects throughout the tri-state area.

With a central location in Hoboken, Eric also began collaborating with residential developers in Hoboken and Jersey City, as well as serving as a structural subcontractor to architectural firms — producing full structural drawing sets and engineering solutions for a wide range of projects.

Today, Lahita Engineering has grown to include two additional Professional Engineers (P.E.’s) and a team of Junior Engineers (E.I.T.’s). The firm continues to expand to meet the growing demands of the tri-state area’s dynamic construction and development market.
